How much notice you give decides how much comes back. And nothing we hold is kept as profit — it becomes a credit against your next move.
A moving job is not a product on a shelf. The day you confirm a date, we block a truck, a crew and the packing material for you, and we turn away other bookings for that slot. The closer to the date you cancel, the harder that is to fill. So the refund depends on how much notice we get.

All timings are counted from the confirmed pickup date and time written on your quotation or booking confirmation.
If your cancellation falls in a slab where the advance is not refundable, we do not simply keep the money.
In plain words: if you postpone your move instead of dropping it, you lose nothing.
Once your goods have been unloaded and handed over at the destination address, the service has been performed and no refund is payable. Any damage claim is handled separately under our zero damage guarantee and the transit insurance — raise it at the time of delivery, before you sign the delivery receipt, and we repair, replace or settle it.

Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method within 5–7 working days. Your bank may take another 2–3 working days to credit it. We share the reference number with you when the refund is initiated. Payment gateway charges, where the gateway does not return them to us, are not refundable.
If Kerala Road Lines cancels a confirmed booking for any reason of our own, you receive a 100% refund of everything paid, regardless of how close to the date it is. If a move is delayed by something beyond anyone's control — flood, strike, highway closure, government restriction — we reschedule at no extra charge, and if you prefer not to wait, we refund in full.

The credit note is not exchangeable for cash and cannot be transferred to another person.
